Salutation to the Triple Gem
He is the Exalted One, far from defilements, Perfectly Enlightened by Himself; the Teaching, well-expounded by the Exalted One; the Order of the Exalted One, which is of good conduct; to that Exalted One, that Teaching, that Order; honouring them as is proper, we render supreme homage. It is well for us, Venerable Sir, Exalted One so pure, having reached the Final Passing-away; (you still) have compassion on the later generations; these humble offerings deign to accept, for lasting benefit and happiness.
The Exalted One, far from defilements, Perfectly Enlightened by Himself, I bow low before the BUDDHA, the Exalted One.**
The Teaching, well- expounded by the Exalted One, I bow low before the DHAMMA.**
The SANGHA of disciples who have practised well, I bow low before the SANGHA.**
The Preliminary Passage for Revering
Leader: Let us now begin our preliminary homage to our Lord, the Buddha, the Exalted One.
All:
Homage to Him, the Exalted One, the Holy One, the Perfectly Enlightened One. 3x
Praise to the Buddha
Leader:
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the Buddha.
All:
He who is attained to Truth, far from defilements, Perfectly Enlightened by Himself, fully possessed of wisdom and (excellent) conduct, One who has proceeded by the good way, Knower of worlds, Unexcelled Trainer of tamable men, Teacher of devas and men, the Awakened One, the One skilled in teaching DHAMMA. Who in this world with its devas, maras and brahmas, this generation with its samanas and brahmins together with its rulers and mankind, made known,
having realized it through higher knowledge. Who pointed out DHAMMA good in the beginning, good in the middle, good at the end explained the brahmacariya with essential and literal meaning, complete and perfect, of surpassing purity. That Exalted One I worship most highly, to that Exalted One my head I bow down.

Praise to the DHAMMA
Leader:
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the DHAMMA.
All:
That which is well-expounded DHAMMA of the Exalted One, to be seen here-and-now, not delayed in time, (inviting one to) come-and-see, leading inwards, to be seen each wise man for himself. That DHAMMA I worship most highly, to that DHAMMA my head I bow down.**
Praise to the Sangha
Leader:
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the SANGHA.
All:
That which is the SANGHA of the Exalted One's disciples who have practised well, the SANGHA of the Exalted One's disciples who have practised straightly, the SANGHA of the Exalted One's disciples who have practised rightly, the SANGHA of the Exalted One's disciples who have practised properly; that is to say the four pairs of men, the eight individual persons, that is the SANGHA of the Exalted One's disciples, worthy of gifts, worthy of hospitality. worthy of offerings, who should be respected, incomparable field of puñña for the world. That SANGHA I worship most highly, to that SANGHA my head I bow down.**
Salutation to the Triple Gem and Passages for Dispassionateness
(Now all sit in a respectful sidewise posture.)
Leader:
Let us now chant the salutation to the Triple Gem together with the Pali passages conducive to dispassionateness.
All:
The BUDDHA purified compassion ocean-like, possessed of wisdom's eye completely purified, destroyer of the stains, the evils of the world: Devotedly indeed that BUDDHA I revere.
The DHAMMA of the Lord likened to a lamp is thus diversified: the Path, its fruits as well, The Deathless - lighting up that beyond the world: Devotedly indeed that DHAMMA I revere.
The SANGHA called a field better than the best, who having seen are calmed, enlightened after Him, possessiveness destroyed, the Noble Ones, the wise: Devotedly indeed that SANGHA I revere.
Truly this pūjā supreme which should be made unto the Triple Gem, worthy of reverence and thus obstructions all by this my puñña here, may they cease to be by the power of success!
Passages conducive to Dispassionateness
Perfectly Enlightened by himself and DHAMMA is pointed out by Him, leading out (of samsara), calming, tending towards Final Nibbana, going to self-enlightenment. We, having heard this DHAMMA, know thus: birth is dukkha, decay is dukkha, death is dukkha, sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair are dukkha, association with the disliked is dukkha, separation from the liked is dukkha, not getting what one wants is dukkha, in brief, the five grasped-at groups are dukkha which are as follows: the grasped-at group of the body, the grasped-at group of feelings, the grasped-at group of memory, the grasped-at group of consciousness, for full knowledge of which while the Exalted One was still alive, according to our ability and a much as we can afford to, in the Doctrine of the Exalted One. May this practice of ours be conducive to the extinction of dukkha.

The morning chanting is so soothing. Thank you for sharing! As of now, I say this chant with the monks at a local temple where I live. I enjoy every minute of it.

Any tips to learn the chants better? There are portions where I just can't make sense where to put stress on certain syllables, and times when I think it would be a "short" pronunciation but instead its long, and vice-versa. I'd appreciate any input!

@@伊井野ミコ-d5k This is the Theravada school of Buddhism mainly in Thailand, Myanmar, India and Southeast Asian countries. What you hear is chanting in Pali, an ancient Indian language since Sakyamuni Buddha's time more than 2,500 years ago. For your info, the Buddha taught the Dhamma in this language. It is not Thai language. Now they are chanting Buddhist suttas in Pali.
Shortly after the Pali language, there emerged another language, Sanskrit, which has slight variations from Pali. Tibetan school of Buddhism chants in Sanskrit. Regardless of the language used for chanting, the teachings still came from the same Buddha. Hope this clarifies. 🙏🙏🙏

Paritta Sutta/Parittan Path reciting in home through Bhikshus/Manks is give strength to the households. It is protector from evils, ghosts and all other calamities and bad Luck. It is a prezsing of Lord Buddha. It is also recited at the time of happiness, joy. Buddhist believed that there is a great power in the words that came out from the mouth of Buddha, who was totally free from all defilement such as anger, desire and ignorance. Hearing or chanting of one word or sentence of Dhamma carry him to go near Nibban/ Salvation/or Pattimokha.

All Buddhism in Thailand regarding spiritual is in balance now. Any sanctioning of any Buddhist Temple/Sect. by any foreign backed 'superior' Buddhist thinking is a removal of hindrances that prevents them to 'corrupt/decay' the pureness in Buddhism.

I had to learn this when I was in a Thai jail. I managed to get out after 3 months. Interesting experience, luckily I'm free to go back to Thailand whenever I want.
