Also Wanda finds out he isn’t related to them is because she lays a curse on anyone who shares blood with her, but only quicksilver is affected, but Magneto isn’t.

Lorna is a Mutant (meaning she was born with the X-gene) with the natural power to see and control electromagnetic fields. She believes she inherited this ability from her father Magneto, although I don’t recall this being confirmed in the show.
Wanda is an Enhanced Human, with no apparent relationship to Magneto, who was experimented upon by Von Strucker, a member of Hydra, and gifted the ability of telekinesis which was derived from the Mind Stone.
