This episode was essentially the calm before the storm with the Scouts being able to DESERVINGLY have one night to party like kings and it also perfectly showcased all of the growth that happened this season between guys like Eren, Levi and the towns people (Via them giving the Scouts that marvelous send off) And they can't instantly show them going to Wall Maria either because quite frankly you can't end things with something like that....Having the cour end like this was perfect, it leaves things on a high (This entire cour was them working towards this W) and it leaves viewers highly anticipated on what's gonna happen next because retaking Wall Maria is a HUGE deal This coupled with that mid credits scene was just brilliant directing |
| the 3rd season became quickly my fav one and the last episode sure didn't change my opinion. something about the recognizable piano music combined with armin's speech about wanting to see the ocean made me realize how long this show has been going on and how i've basically grown up with it uwu idK im emotional (bonus: one of the emotions is fear™ because of the damn ending) |
| Fuck that ending gave me chills. Goddammit, this season has easily triumphed the first 2 for me with much better pacing and character development shown here, and an ending that I'm pissed off about since I have to wait another 5-6 months with that in mind. An awesome season with some good storytelling. I love the AoT action and this season didn't have as much as before, but the developments are important and this season did a great job at that. |
| The ending TERRIFIED me for a second, I didn't expect this. Apart from the last 2 minutes this ep didn't feel like a finale at all, there were a few goofy moments that were contrasting with the rest of the season. Overall this arc had a different vibe to it than the previous two seasons, but I liked it that way. Hype for the second court, and I don't mind the wait if we can get better art and animation quality. |
| @Tokoya If the manga ends in 2020, season 4 will have to be 24 episodes or having the same split cour treatment as this season, since the first cour of season 4 is already completed in the manga. And the manga just began the new arc not too long ago, not sure if the new arc is the last arc though. |

I hated how every "villain" of this arc was just an imperfect human with own dreams and tragedy they could not escape. But it was very different from the previous seasons, comrade, you are right. "Villain" The more seasons go by, the more you will realise that their really isn't any "villain" in this series, just people having different goals and are willing to stain their hands will blood to achieve that goal. |
| Worst season. And this final was so boring. Too much chatter. I skipped through the feast. The part with Erwin chanting was nice though. And the part at the end of the credits was nice. The stuff happing before that scene is what I was most excited to see this year, unfortunatly it won't happen until next year now :| |

| Honestly I'm glad they're splitting it. The second cour will be so much better, can't wait to see it animated. It was a good last episode and I liked how they showed a sneak peak in the middle of the ending |

| SNK S3 was pretty average. I have many problems with this season: bad pacing, plot armor and some boring scenes. The political stuff was just pointless. 5/10 for this anime. |

| I stopped reading the manga at chapter 100 because of how good the anime is at adapting the source material. Obviously some things have been cut out, but this anime is doing an amazing job. The ending only feels like spoilers to the people who read the manga, but there simply isn't enough context for anyone who hasn't read up to that chapter yet. Very fun episode. |

| I was waiting for this episode for such a long time! I thought season two would end with this episode because of the perfect scene to stop the season. So, I had been waiting for this before season two had even started. The scene where everyone cheered for the Survey Corps was a little emotional as I know what is going to happen next. It was emotional in the manga as well, even though I didn't know what would be happening next. Eren looks like his usual self, but we can kind of see that he's already given up. He was really hesitating to talk about the world outside the walls. The glitch before the preview for the next episode freaked me out a little. I wasn't expecting to see that scene animated so soon, and my heart wasn't prepared at all!! I feel so bad for Levi, Mikasa, Eren, Armin, Erwin and Hange. This is a split cour, and I don't mind that, but they could've warned us before the first episode. It would have saved me from the unnecessary anxiety as I waited for the episode count to be shown on MAL. |
| I'm sorry. But what. The fxck. Was that all about... Here's me getting excited over a salted two cour -damn studio pulls a sly one and we're having a season 3 part 2. Frickin' hell. Anyway, crazy episode, really felt like a wholesome build up for the retaking of wall Maria; that sh*t is gon' be dope. And then... And then, they gave us a glimpse of bertholdt and Reiner -the latter seeming visibly bruised. But the highlight was the ED GLITCHING! Faaaaackk what is this plot twist. They're really leaving us at their mercy. It's really pushing to the edge and getting into manga; but I really only want to savour this series in all its anime gloriousness. This is really not going to go well for me in spring. My life's so busy. Gaaaah. edit. FHGKGSJDJKSGKFKDFKGKFKFFKFK WHAT THE FXCK. Why is Wit doing this to us. That shit got me hard. FXCK. FXCK. FXCK. | I thought this season was going to cover 2 arcs? A bit disappointing, but we did get a lot of conclusive answers to many mysteries, so that's nice I guess. I hate that cliffhanger. I hate it a lot. Levi's all bloody and steamy, Eren's got his Titan marks, and the manga readers are undoubtedly going to get spoiler-horny again. We were already excited for the next season, that wasn't necessary. |

| most funny shingeki no kyojin episode so far,and it was nice showing that each character is good their own way.Also the ending had an interesting way of saying:"there will be way more deaths in shingeki no kyojin,you have seen nothing" |

| That part in the ED just looked dumb to me. Looked more like they were just having a big argument or something. Without any real background on what was happening then it just felt random as a result. So much for 2-cour, I guess. |

I ended up playing through several minutes of flashbacks and reminscence at 3x speed just to see if anything would actually happen. |
| I didn't like the episode that much. The feast scene tried to bring back the vibes from season 1 but I don't think it touched me that much although it's good that we see Eren interacting like that again with his friends after a long time.Not gonna lie, I believe Erwin will become kinda boring. I don't know I just want to see him fight. I really miss Berthold,Reiner and Ymir. Can't wait to see more of them in the next part and see what this cliffhanger has to offer. Six months to go |

| Oh well, when 2019 comes, I will please myself by saying that whole Shiganshina experience is yet to come. How cozy it is to get some rest from hyper-mouth screaming and get some light shed on character's personalities, goals and desires. Erwin's only goal as of yet seems to be learning the truth, but how will he move on with this truth? And this episode alone portrayed the basement to burst truth particles like a factory bursts steam: Erwin's declaration that it contains something that couldn't be told even if one wanted to, Grisha being from outside but having different goals. But now we chill and let's get it boiling after a year :) |
